What if I have an emergency?
Our operator is available to answer your calls Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you call us outside of these hours or on the weekend, your call will be answered by the nurse on call. If you need immediate assistance, please call 911 or report to the Novant Health Emergency Department.
How do I obtain a refill of a medication?
If you have filled your prescription at a pharmacy and the dosage has not changed, you may call your pharmacy and ask them to fax a refill request to our office at 704-384-6072. For controlled substances, please call 2 weeks in advance. Please leave your full, given name and birth date. You may be asked to pick up prescriptions at our office. If your physician is mailing your prescription to you, please allow an additional 5-7 business days for your prescription to arrive.
What if I forget to bring my copayment?
Payment will be collected at time of check-in. If you do not bring your copayment, you may be asked to reschedule.
Where are you located?
We are located in the Metroview Building, adjacent to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and near uptown Charlotte. Our address is 1900 Randolph Road. Do you do testing for ADHD?
There are different ways to evaluate a person for ADHD. Novant Health Psychiatric Associates does not provide formal psychological testing but looks for learning disabilities. We evaluate and treat for ADHD.
